Still, Still, Still

O Holy Night (SATB)

You can almost envision the three witches dancing around their kettle adding the ingredients for their potion in this choral adaptation of the witches scene from Shakespeare's Macbeth. Starting simply with one voice singing the main theme, the piece builds continually toward a climatic and frenzied ending. This traditional hymn tune is exquisitely set for two-part (SA) young voices.  With optional violin and wind chimes, the expressive melody and harmonies of this lullaby create a peaceful beauty that is needed in the busyness of the holiday season.   

This arrangement of a classic American folk song is a wonderful introduction to singing in three parts.  With a fun violin part and piano accompaniment, this will be a lively addition to your choir's repertoire!

Written with young singers in mind, Lavender’s Blue is a classic folk song that your singers will enjoy! The simplicity of the tune shines against the flowing piano accompaniment. This is a terrific song for choirs beginning to sing harmony!
